Chuck Schumer: Palestinians are the reason there is no peace in the Middle East

Really, the fact that the debate here is Democrats going "bad Schumer" and Republicans going "Yay, Schumer" is just more evidence that, over the long term, Israel has lost the debate in the US. Once the present generation of leadership passes, Israel is going to more and more be a partisan issue rather than one of bipartisan consensus.

The blame for this lies pretty squarely with Bibi Netanyahu trying to be an openly partisan cheerleader for one American party and acting like a disrespectful jackass to our previous President. Netanyahu has been making it clear for years that he has zero interest in the support of American liberals.
