Isn't this exactly the sort of district that was thrown away by Democrats unenthused by certain-to-win Clinton?

She garnered 80k votes fewer than Obama 2008 while still comfortably winning, doesn't that reveal a wellpring of potential Dem votes in this reliably blue state?
