Eh, I'm not quite sure I agree with the premise. Good speech, though.

It's good for you that you didn't bring up your original Pacifican citizenship.

Sort of denies the purpose of regional rights. Besides, national elections would net you more seats.

No I wouldn't, look at this election:

1 RPP, 1 NLC, 1 Indy, 1 JCP, 1 SDP

...because you only ran one candidate.

We would need more supporters to win with more candidates. Even if we ran Brandon, Jedi, & Paul, I'm not sure that we could get three candidates elected, let alone five.

Who was talking about winning all five?

I want people like PiT making decisions for his home region, not whippersnappers like Xahar in the MIDLEAST.

Classy. I'm surprised* you're not calling PiT a carpetbagger.

*Not really.

I doubt you're the best person that needs to be lecturing me about "class," young one. Run along and watch TV or something.

Huh

Why? You don't want the chance to directly vote no?

I don't want the federalists to use a slight numbers advantage to disenfranchise the rest of us

So you admit your cause is unviable? It takes more than a slight majority to pass an amendment 'round these parts.

It takes four votes

Realistically, I mean.

PiT, see what I was talking about? That step really needs to be taken right now.

Yes, PiT, listen to person who has won sooooooo many elections.  Xahar really knows how to get things done.

I had a biting comeback, but I decided not to waste it here.

Isn't it odd that far-right parties always claim to transcend the political spectrum? Take the Sweden Democrats, for instance.

That's what matters to you? Really? I'd love to see you defend that law. I don't think even Porce would now.

But I actually have been called that off the forum, because it happens to be homophonous with the first syllable of my last name.

Seceding is good. But seceding is bad. I understand now.

It still perplexes as to why Xahar thinks that reading the Wiki makes you an important Atlasia, he's being challenged as chairman to the party he founded.

So? The opposition isn't serious. My leadership is pretty much unchallenged in the SDP.

He made a big deal about getting 10 people, yet he hasn't kept it active and I've made a bigger party in less time with all active members and an active thread.

The SDP is plenty active. I can understand you going after the NLC on this, but we've actually adopted a full set of bylaws, unlike the SSP RPP. As for the membership thing, remember when you were an AUB member?

The Social Democrats may also consider the "We Have Never Been Elected To Anything and Probably Never Will" Party (WHNBETAPNW)

Ah yes. There it is. Care to elaborate on that? While you're at it, explain to me the activity of Driedapples and Ronnie.

Anyway, call me back when your coalition partners, for whom your praise has been nearly as effusive as your denunciation of us has been unrestrained, hold a convention, call an election, or adopt a platform or bylaws.

He hasn't been elected to anything, mostly because of his own doing.  What is it with this kid?

I don't carpetbag, unlike some others. But I won Torie an election, and I could win it again if it needed winning.

I'm probably wasting my time here. But it's still fun.

As I just said, city government positions are obscenely overpaid. If you look here, you'll see that pay for city employees ranges from $50,000 to over $150,000 a year.

Not at all obscene, or at least no more so than the cost of living.

The cost of living in San Francisco is overblown. I've found that I have to eat at fancy restaurants every night & drive all over the place just to spend $30,000 in the course of a year. Anyone not named Opebo can get by on about $50,000 a year here. $150,000 is overkill.

Odd. I don't remember your part of town being that cheap.

Besides, you don't quite lead the bourgeois lifestyle expected of a career government employee.
