I've seen passing references to it well into the second millenium, but actual information on the later Senate is entirely nonexistent.

When did it last meet, then?

Second millennium? After the creation of the city, or after Jesus?

AD.

592 said Pope Gregory I that it gives no Roman Senate anymore. Maybe after this date gives something called Senate, but this was not more than the city council of Rome.

The Popes used it occasionally after that.
