Not at all!  MI has an anti-gay marriage amendment on the ballot and Bush has a REAL chance of winning it.
Even if he does, this is bad strategy. Bush should focus on OHio & Florida and if he can pull one of them out, he could win; if he pulls out both he DOES win.  Suppose he falls 1% short in Michigan and loses OHio and Florida by less than 1%, where does that leave him?
