Venezuela is of course awful, but not even close to some others.

Certain ex-Soviet republics, for example.

And putting in Russia/Cuba/Venezuela/Belarus just shows your (cold war?) ideological bias tbh, all are highly bad but none are systematically totalitarian like some others in your list. Despite the mullahs, there is quite a vigorous civil society in Iran as well.
