slightly green banana vs slightly brown banana

the Wal Mart shoppers live to give us green banana, and that's fine, better to give a customer a slightly under ripe fruit than a slightly over ripe fruit.  But as for eating them goes, I much prefer a slightly passed it's prime 'nana to one that isn't quite finished yet.  How's about you?

I like the environment and my pocketbook, so I don't buy organic which is bad for both.

less than 4% of us don't eat banana, I would have figured the number to be higher.
