It was a military target at least and they warned them before hand. (I'm in no way defending the bombing)  It's still terrorism, but it's a lot less "terroristy" than say, blowing up an embassy because a news organization based in that country drew a cartoon you didn't like.  It's less "terroristy" than threatening to kill an author of a book you didn't like.  It's a lot less "terroristy" than killing an abortion doctor in the middle of church or firing rockets indiscriminately at population centers.

I feel I should reiterate that I think it was terrorism and was wrong.

Good thing then Israel was set up in a location where they get along with everyone and there's no wars or fighting ever!

We were trying to do this without hindsight I thought, did we know then that the Arabs were as anti-semetic as the Nazis?  Maybe we should have.  Their religious leaders certainly didn't hide from their collaborations with the Germans.
