I obviously haven't seen it yet but I'm counting down the days until Vantage Point comes out. It looks cool. Plus, Matthew Fox (Jack from LOST) is in it.

Wow....Matthew Fox from "LOST"....I tend to remember Matthew Fox from "PARTY OF FIVE". Thanks for making me feel old.

Naso, I'm older than you.

Yes....but only by 5 months. I wasn't saying I was older, Santorumite, I was saying that I remember him from an older show rather than a new one. Get snippy with me again, and no more Matlock!

Idiocracy - This movie reminded me of Mike Naso. It was funny yes, but also rather depressing in that manner.

BRTD, soon, very soon, I will be in the Air Force serving my country while you sit at a computer listening to emo songs and playing computer games. I've begun my transition...why don't you, my dear friend?

I just got back after seeing "Rambo". Fantastic movie, it felt much more like a Rambo film then the new Die Hard felt like a Die Hard film. The kill scenes of the enemy were fantastic and the ending was brilliant.

Saw Vantage Point last night at the local AMC theater. The movie itself was like a bad episode of 24 (except instead of CTU being ridiculously incompetent, the Secret Service is). But someone pulled a fire alarm shortly before the movie began, which resulted in me grabbing two free movie passes from various different employees. So I guess it was worth it.

Some idiot set a trash can on fire by putting a cigarette into it when we were in line to see "Titanic" a decade ago.

Back in 2000, my father and I were in a crowded audience to see "X-Men" and the film went suddenly to a black screen...and we had to wait about 10 minutes for it to catch up.

Supposedly in the late Summer of 2001, the theater my mom and sister were seeing "The Princess Diaries" in caught on fire.

Saturday night, I watched "The Apartment" (1960) starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Good film.

I just finished watching "Dressed to Kill" (1980) starring Michael Caine, Nancy Allen, Angie Dickinson and Dennis Franz. Good early 80s thriller...Nancy Allen is the ideal early 80s chick in this movie...even though she plays a hooker...

What a face...if only those styles could come back. Hey...the 70s are back somewhat...maybe the 2010s will bring back the 80s!

How was that? I really liked the first one....and I like the overall plot of the 2nd one so far. I have yet to see it.

I saw it, and it was pretty good.

Cool. I like Michael Bay movies...he has most of my favorite movies under his belt. Con-Air, Armageddon, The Rock, National Treasure, and Bad Boys I and II. I'm planning on seeing National Treasure 2 soon!

Bay had nothing to with Con Air and National Treasure. Those were solely Jerry Bruckheimer productions.

Yeah...I knew a few of those might have been only Jerry Bruckheimer. They sometimes work hand in hand.

"Boeing, Boeing" (1965) with Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis. I've loved that film since I was a little kid.

King of Comedy-I enjoyed a lot.  Jerry Lewis can act believe it or not.  I'm on a Scorsese kick.  I watched After Hours a couple of days ago as well and liked that a lot also.

HEY! I idoled Jerry Lewis when I was a young kid. I was 6 years old watching Martin and Lewis films! He made me want to become an actor when I was young and that's why I went into modeling 10 years ago.

I even dressed up as an "actor" for Kindergarden "Career Day" in 1994::

If you're on a Scorsese kick...see "Taxi Driver", "Goodfellas", "Cape Fear (1991 Remake", "Raging Bull", "Casino", "Gangs of New York" and "The Departed".

Watched the classic romantic/dramatic/suspense "Witness" (1985) starring Harrison Ford as a Philadelphia police officer that goes into hiding with an Amish widow (Kelly McGillis) after her son witnesses a murder. Classic stuff!

I watched "The Day Reagan was Shot" (2001) starring Richard Dreyfuss, yesterday. What's so crazy about it...is I vividly remember sitting in my sixth grade classroom talking about how it was exactly 20 years since the assassination attempt....now it is going on 27 years....crazy stuff.

In the past 3 or so days I've seen Ocean's 13, and Live Free Or Die Hard.

I really enjoyed both.

Live Free or Die Hard was awesome...and even had the original Die Hard score from '88. However, to me, Rambo felt more like a Rambo movie than Live Free or Die Hard felt like a Die Hard. Impressive given that only 12 years had passed since the last Die Hard while 20 years had passed since the last Rambo.

Yes it was awesome. I noticed the original theme music too. I thought it was a nice touch. I haven't seen any of the Rambo films. But I have seen all the Lethal Weapon ones. Odd. O_o

Yeah...you gotta see all the Rambos....good stuff.

I watched "The Ice Harvest" (2005) with John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton. Pretty decent movie.

Then I watched "No Country for Old Men"...fantastic film.

I saw Prom Night and a good chunk of 21Prom Night was fun and I really want to see the rest of 21.

Which "Prom Night"? 1980 or 2008?

I saw "1408" last night starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. That Stephen King is one sick puppy...

2008.  Old movies usually suck.

Scream - The best horror movie of the last 15 years.  Absolutely spectacular in every single way.

You just saw Scream? My older sister brought it home on VHS is 1997...and we were terrified. The sequel is good, too...be sure to see that. By the time the third Scream came out in February 2000....I saw it in theaters...but the horror films of the 90s (murder on high school/college aged friends with actors from television shows) were coming to an end by 1999/2000.

I saw Scream 2 and Scream 3 yesterday, and they were all really good.  The first one was the best, but I really enjoyed all three of them.

I have to say...the killer in Scream 2 was pretty suprising but classic clever revenge.

Killing Zoe

I taped this back in '99-'00 accidently when we had "Starz" and "Encore" and I watched it and remembered it was a classic bank robbery gone bad bloodbath, and decided to rent it again. Found out Tarantino helped produce it...and even though some parts are dubbed in French...most of it is in English and American star Eric Stoltz stars, good flick.

Hancock

It's pretty good, better than I thought it would be.

Can you give a plot outline without giving anything away? Who is Hancock...what year is it...what is the situation? Thanks.

"Crusing" from 1980 starring Al Pacino as a NYC Cop who goes undercover into the sadistic gay world of New York of the late 70s/early 80s to catch a killer who stalks young gay men as his prey.

Decent flick...but a little hard to gauge the ending.
