What about posting on the forum while studying (ie what I'm doing right now)?

In my experience, not a very productive way of studying... Smiley

And drinking alcohol during studying ... depends on what you have to study. Lean bad idea.

God, it sure isn't.

It leads to a reading average of 5 pages an hour or so.

Not like getting drunk while studying, obviously. But enjoying a nice cold beer that you slowly sip over an hour or so.

In that case...

I do that frequently.

I have come to learn in recent days that it is difficult to find a balance between the two.
Shocked

Tmth... alcohol...Huh WHAT HAPPENED Tongue

it happens to us all

Actually, I'm probably closest to being consistent on these things. It has nothing to do with some moral opposition to drinking; I just don't care for alcohol. I'll taste something my friends mix in with another beverage every so often but that's pretty much it. It's an "acquired taste" I simply haven't acquired yet.

Hey be happy. I'm sure your liver appreciates it.

As somebody who really doesn't like beer outside of the whole "gets you drunk" component, I think this would be

1)  A waste of a tastier beverage alternative
2)  A waste of a perfectly good beer

I could, however, do this with cider or wine.

Keep in mind I don't really sip any beverages.  I tend to drink them quickly when I am thirsty.  Beer neither tastes particularly good, nor is it a pleasant drink to quench thirst.

If I'm going to drink, I'd prefer something with a bit more bite to it.
