In Germany as well.

And these same people would be complaining about America's indifference to Haiti's suffering if America didn't send troops and massive help.

Well, I wouldn't follow this, may Haiti receive all the help they can, they need it, but the fact that one country can take such a military importance in such an operation, well, should at least make wonder for the future, especially in the realm of international organizations like UN.

Wouldn't it be fair to argue that the US military is simply better prepared to offer help to Haiti then the UN?

I don't mean to sound like an evil American Yankee Imperialist, but I really don't see people would see any reason to oppose American intervention here.

And it's not as if the Republicans would act any differently here, I'm sure Dubya would have acted similarly.
