SEIU endorsed McAuliffe today. He looks more and more like the front runner everyday.

Apart from SEIU (which I know endorsed McAuliffe) does anyone know how the other unions endorsed? AFSCME? IBEW? IAFF? Teamsters?

AFSCME and the Firefighters both endorsed McAuliffe, still searching for the others but I would be surprised if they didn't go in a similar direction.

Anyways, confirms in my mind even more so that McAuliffe will win the primary and general.

You think I'd actually allow my browser to load Terry McAuliffe's website?

No, I was using the Google. Like a NORMAL person, not like LOONAR THE LOONY LOOSER.

Eh. McAuliffe is blasting the NoVA airwaves all week, has the better turnout machine, and I suspect has one or two tricks still left up his sleeve.

I'm less confident then I was yesterday, but I still think McAuliffe will win. Ask me again on Friday though.

Ben, you think Deeds is going to win? Huh, hadn't heard you mention that before.

wow, a released internal poll with no additional information (sample size, date conducted) comes out showing the candidate that conducted it ahead that sort of blunts the recent slate of bad polling that's come out against said candidate, I can hardly believe it

I, for one, am shocked.

"Well I guess Terry has a leg up in the Montana precincts"

Awesome.

Schweitzer went from FF to HP.
It's pathetic, and it ignores the situation in Virginia.

So you're entire opinion of a man is based upon his relationship to Creigh Deeds? Wow.

You're reaching Winfield levels, ben.

Ironic because:  What is the RGA?

Uhh, the Republican Governor's Association. You know the counterpart to the DGA, which Schweitzer is the head of. DUH.

You are sooooo stupid.

I should mention I do have a vague gut feeling Terry will still win this... so if it happens then I can quote this. Still sticking with my prediction in the other thread though.

Terry McAuliffe would be ahead by 6-8 points right now. Oh well.

McLEAN, Va. -- In today's debate here, moderator David Gregory also asked Democrat Creigh Deeds about whether race was behind some of the protests and opposition aimed at President Obama.

Deeds answered in the affirmative, saying that there is a "hint of racism that is crystal clear."

Drive up that black turnout...

Don't worry guys. The GW College Democrats are headed down to Norfolk next weekend to volunteer for Deeds. Just as we did in New Jersey, this race is about to be turned on its head.

I could regularly get around 10-15 people to show up to my Young Democrats meetings in high school, more if we had a particularly interesting speaker or topic for the day. For a 300 person place I think I did a pretty good job.

I maintain that McAuliffe would be doing much better right now.

It's starting to look possible that Wagner or Shannon will finish ahead of Deeds.

I handed out lit for John Bell when we were canvassing for Deeds (Mathieson lit as well). Does he have any chance?

What is the declaration? "Too early to call"?

Too close to call, but same diff

ETA: Actually I suppose there is a slight difference, but their tone indicated a more "Too early to call"

CNN and MSNBC both have their regular anchors (Dobbs and Matthews) but they're talking about the elections mostly.

Blacks made up 15% of the electorate, down from 20% in 2008.

Percentage of electorate Democratic down a few percent, Republican static, and Independents up.
