The Socialists only ran one candidate in 2008, a perennial candidate in New Jersey who got 0.2% of the vote. The Socialist Workers Party ran three, two of whom got 1.1%, and the other a whopping 1.5%. There might have been other Socialist candidates in all but name on the ballot (running as independents), but they probably don't have ballot access in most states.
