Uh... why exactly does him attending a Metallica concert make you less likely to support him?

Metallica sucks.

Is this a joke?

I can't imagine anyone seriously reconsidering their support for a candidate just because they don't like a band whose concert said candidate attended. it's just bizarre.

POTUS Trump just won reelection to a 2nd term in 2020.

Yes, the mere fact that Beto O'Rourke announced a run for President has surely sealed Trump's reelection a year and a half before the actual election.

The party of inclusivity. Purple heart

Attacking Beto and his drunk driving issues is fine, but bringing his heritage into it, not so much. Very typical, GOP party leadership continuing to be gutter garbage as usual.

His Irish heritage wouldn't be notable if he didn't try to pass himself off as Hispanic via a nickname which was intentionally contrived to make him more electable in El Paso:

In the backdrop of the city's multicultural community, his father, Pat O'Rourke, a consummate politician, once explained why he nicknamed his son Beto: Nicknames are common in Mexico and along the border, and if he ever ran for office in El Paso, the odds of being elected in this mostly Mexican-American city were far greater with a name like Beto than Robert Francis O'Rourke.

Okay?

It's not as if he personally gave himself the nickname to help him win over Hispanics.

Good thing I'm not running for President, since I cuss like a sailor nearly 24/7.

While I don't think crowd sizes can predict results, I do think that the candidate with larger crowd sizes is more likely to outperform their polling numbers, thus why I think Sanders may have a bigger advantage in some states than the polls suggest, and why Beto is probably in a stronger position than he appears to be in the polls.

I think both O'Rourke and Sanders will be in the final three, although I'm not sure which one wins or who the third candidate will be (Harris?).

It would be fitting for the woke intersectionality crowd to settle on a WASP candidate who projects what they've judged as the right kind of white guilt over more accomplished competitors whose victories would actually matter in terms of representation.

You have a gay mayor, a Jewish Senator, several female Senators, two black Senators, an Asian entrepreneur, a Hispanic Cabinet Secretary, and others. Even Joe Biden of all people at least has a claim to working class roots.
Telling an audience that slavery is directly connected to mass incarceration of black people for profit and it must be dismantled in its current form is white guilt? K. Just sounds like the truth to me.

Every Democrat talks about that, albeit with varying degrees of subtlety.

O'Rourke's emphasis on his race has been covered as a major campaign theme and there's every reason to believe that his campaign desires this coverage.
I know it sucks, but our next President is going to be to the right of Fidel Castro.  Get used to it.

Beto O'Rourke is not going to be our next President.
