LoTT’s whole purpose is to focus the energies of thousands of angry and violent people and turn that like the Eye of Sauron on whatever individual teacher, parent, or doctor they decide to spotlight as a groomer or a filthy abuser, who is then inundated with death threats and violence threats, doxed, their families and coworkers also abused. This not only punishes or injures the “lib”, it has a chilling effect to force all others with similar views underground and off the Internet.
What shua is repeating here is the exact talking point that LoTT fans use on Twitter that disingenuously ignores all that LoTT does and its impact. It’s good to recognize this is the one defense people make, but we can choose to look at the full picture.
I wonder if the people defending this would still defend it if it was an account highlighting Trump supporters as "people who stormed the capital", but it's just random dudes that happen to wear a MAGA hat.
