https://www.facebook.com/groups/DoNotTreadOnUs/about/

Now whether Floridians care is another question.

And therein lies the issue. They won't when DeSantis tars Gillum with the "SOCIALIST!" moniker.

They why did the Kenyan Muslim win their electoral votes twice?

We're living in a different time. 2012 and its political environment seems so very long ago. Now, let me just say that since saying that in the post you quoted, that one PPP poll has me feeling mildly more optimistic towards this race. Gillum may be able to pull this off after all. If he can maintain a similar polling lead up until the election in November, I will be ready to apologize to him and the percentage of Floridians that voted for him.

So Desantis is actually alt-Right, not alt-Lite?

I mean Trump retweets National Socialist propaganda, DeSantis actually helps write it.

Up 10 where someone who lost by 1 was up 6? Not bad but this isn't saying much.

The storm is already well politicized and it hasn't even hit yet. Good God.

This hurricane is going to drown Gillum if he handles it as poorly as the last one.
Says the guy who follows the idiot who dismissed the death of thousands of Americans in Puerto Rico as fake news. Roll Eyes
What do I know? I’ve only lived through Gillum’s Tallahassee:Smiley
I find the spokespeople on DeSantis's "Gillum Failed Us" hurricane ads to be scripted and unconvincing, but it's a narrative that has gained SOME traction, and it won't be good if Tallahassee is nailed right at election time with Hurricane Michael.

Gillum is in a no-win situation.  If he stays home, he'll get flak and if he campaigns, he'll get more flak.  DeSantis has actually lucked out with the weather situation here, believe it or not.

And in addition, during his time as Mayor of Tallahassee, Gillum presided over the highest crime in Florida.

Even NBC fact checked it as Mostly True.

http://www.nbc-2.com/story/39251047/ron-desantis-says-tallahassee-mayor-andrew-gillum-presided-over-the-highest-crime-in-florida

That article mentions that the crime rate dropped between 2016 and 2017.

Me getting robbed at gunpoint on Richmond Street wasn’t fake news. I know that.
I would empathize with you if this was the first time you tried to use the victim card.

I’m not trying to play the victim. I’m not a victim. I had literally nothing on me but a cigarette and a lighter when I got mugged....mainly because I knew Tallahassee is a crime ridden city. I’d like to see you go into Frenchtown. You’d walk out of there with a MAGA hat if you spent an afternoon touring that neighborhood.

My power was restored this morning apparently but I’m in Vero. Killearn lakes - a fairly middle class/upper middle class neighborhood is still in the dark apparently.

I've been to Tallahassee. Have you ever been to Laramie?

No, but you don’t see me pontificating what life in Laramie is like?

I definitely see you talking about how bad it is to be an Alt-right stoner in Tallahassee the last two years.

I just saw a very aggressive ad by DeSantis about Gillum running from the FBI. Seems like a real low blow, especially since Gillum is up in Tallahassee focusing on the hurricane damage.

DeSantis went low. Time for Gillum to kick him!

What Gillum actually did was create an ad with local sheriffs and tout how he worked with the FBI and on local Government justice issues. He really didn't need to kick him. He just needed to counter fake news with real news.

lmao

"Spend an afternoon with those people and you'd turn into a Trump supporter"

Why is it that one would turn into a Trump supporter if they developed some racial animus?  🤔

Sanchez really revealed himself there huh?

Voted this morning and good lord was it a geriatricfest if Ive ever seen one. I had to wait in line because none of the old people could hear their names being called.

Anyway voted Gillum, Nelson, Crist, Shaw, Fried, Cross, Diamond, no on retaining any of crook Scott's judicial appointments, no on all ballot initiatives except 3, 4, 9, 13

They don't call us God's waiting room for nothin'. Especially in Crist's district. I was a teenager there.

Gillum, as stated before, Dems will finally win one in FL and Trump can't win without FL😀
Scott won in 2010, yet Obama won in 2012.

If things improve and Trump is seen as improving,  sure.

So the worst they can say is that he didn't disclose his spending cash when he went to Coasta Rica and that he went to a $150 play without knowing for certain who was paying for it?

Still waiting for the dirt on Gillum you promised Tongue
I doubt it’s coming out at this point, unless DeSantis is keeping his powder dry or if Mr. and Mrs. Gillums shared boyfriend comes forward himself.
Oh no! He's a gay too! Say it ain't so!
Supposedly. I think the smokes thicker with Rubio. I was never presented any actual evidence about Gillum, but everyone on Jefferson Street seemed to be talking about it. This was ~August ‘15.

Not that it matters but I've actually heard about this from multiple people as well.
You mean about Gillum or Rubio?
Gillum

Wasn't Crist supposed to be a closet case?

Agreed. It's obvious that Gillum tried to copy Obama, however that's largely been overshadowed by his scandals like the Hamilton tickets for example. We can see in the EV that the blacks are not turning in record numbers for Gillum/Nelson.

We got everything on your guys from stealing from Medicare, to paling around with nazis , to conspiring with a hostile government to commit election fraud and the best you can come up with is finksing Hamilton tickets?

Jesus...

If Democrats are looking for a shiny object Governorship pickup it won't be here. I think you are buying into polls that were made for spin mostly.

Wisconsin is a possibility but not FL or GA.

You have a very strange understanding of how polling works.

Not really. I know they have mostly been gaslighting tools since the 2014 election.

Based on what evidence exactly?

That Republicans will always over perform forever.

Standing by my prediction that DeSantis wins. It’ll be a squeaker either way.

Remember you promised to eat a MAGA hat if Gillum wins.

Better not back out.
Once I get a hat again I’ll cut a tiny tiny piece off and down it with a glass of water Tongue

And you will let us see it?
