Though I've talked to you about the bill in private, I like to give quick rationalizations for my bills. So could you explain why this bill is a good idea for the rest of us? Smiley

Quite simply the SOEA's role is currently very loosely defined and frankly not very relevant.  This is simply a bill to correct those problems, or at least treat them

What is a foreign policy roll exactly? Could we clarify that? And I would amend it to read "shall be presented to the Senate" rather than "put out."

Essentially it is a clarification of Atlasia's diplomatic policies around the world on a nation by nation basis.  As a compromise how about what change it from put out to issue?  Also how would you like to clarify it in the bill?

To view a foreign policy roll look here:

Thanks for the clarification.

And why not just have the SoEA present it to the Senate in the DoEA.

I don't think the DOEA counts as a part of the Senate nor is it truly necessary to present to the Senate.

As a compromise, we can put it as "shall present a foreign policy roll in the DoEA."

Works for me, I will accept as friendly if you're offering Wink

Thanks Hashemite.

Mister PPT with these new revisions the bill should read:

1) Every 2 months a renewed foreign policy review must be presented within the Department of External Affairs Office.
2) Communiques should be sent out whenever there is a foreign or diplomatic crisis in the world regarding official Atlasian policy.
3)The SOEA will give his opinion on all foreign policy related decisions to the President.
4) The SOEA will serve as Atlasia's foremost representative to other countries.
5) The SOEA will be second in command of the Atlasian armed forces only to the President.
