The last Purple polls were done Sept  15-19 (The week when 47% hit), and they were actually not that great for Obama compared to other polls...OH: Obama +4, CO: Obama +3, VA: Obama +3. So Romney has picked up 1 in CO, 2 in OH, and 3 in VA since what may be Obama's best week. He is going to have to do better than that to break 270.

Mittmentum of 2 points in 5 weeks. So in 6 weeks Mitt will certainly be ahead in OH!  And on that day he can talk to President Kerry about how the undecideds swung the election for him.

At this point in 2004 Bush was averaging 47% in OH and 47.5% in FL, his two 'firewall' states. He won them both.  Obama is averaging 48-49%  in his three firewalls (OH, NV, WI).
