Wow. You people would support Obama before you resorted to Romney.

A tea party friend of mine has said just that. This friend (who was on the Cain Train back in March so he is a good bellweather) explains that Romney is little different than Obama and will be another big spender like Bush and cant be trusted. Therefore it is better to let Obama have 4 more years (which he predicts will be a huge disaster) to bring rise to Chris Christie or another true champion. The thought being that it would be like Carter 1980 where the country would finally see the need for a real conservative.

I thought it was crazy talk, until Joe Scarborough started saying he is hearing the same stuff from his conservative friends. And then Red State also jumped in to. And don't forget Ann Colter's "if Chris Christie doesn't run we will nominate Romney and we will lose"
