If Gallego doesn't run there's a good chance that he would be VA secretary if the democrats win in 2020.

This is good. I have no issues with Gallego, but it is better to have a unified party without a divisive primary going into the general election. Gallego can be VA Secretary in the next Dem administration, or he could run for governor in 2022.
