What if Hillary's campaign managers and spin doctors would have discovered the political newcomer Beto O'Rourke, who had already been a member of the House for almost four years after beating an incumbent in the primary, with all his rhetorical skills and his charismatic aura and his popularity among liberals and young voters.

Well, I don't think Beto would've made much of a difference. He could've improved the margins in TX, but it wouldn't be enough to let Hillary win it since Beto wasn't all that well known at the time.
