No. "Conservative Inc.", as the alt-right calls it, burned its bridge in the Bush years. Moderate conservatives will need a new approach with a fresh face and rhetoric as animating as populism to get anywhere in the party, let alone the nation. A few years ago I thought it would be rebooted with Paul Ryan's objectivism, but he's gone and most young people in that movement have shifted communitarian/alt-lite/alt-right.
