I think Native American turnout was depressed in 2016 because many of them thought Hillary didn't take a strong enough stand against the Keystone XL pipeline. The 2020 election was just a reversion to normal Democratic levels of support among Native Americans.

Even 2018, Heitkamp did better with Natives in 2018 than 2012, same with Tester.
