With all due respect, 95+% of legitimate polling is often incorrectly identified as a push poll.  Anyone who's spent any time at all running a campaign knows this.

No, no, no, no, no.  That's NOT a push poll.  Testing your opponents' negatives is a very real part of partisan polling, and just about the only reason to commission a poll in the first place.  Horserace numbers tell you nothing.  It's message testing that's key, and actually worth dropping several thousand dollars for.
