I am imagining a giant, glitter-covered wheel spinning, with alternating spaces marked CAD and Kenya. After a sad-but-lengthy spin, the wheel lands on Bankrupt and we all go home with nothing.

THE

And bushie still doubts me when I say he will never move to Kenya, never adopt those kids and never leave OK?

He says he probably won't move to Kenya until 2018 now, right?

I asked him before, but he didn't answer.  How old will the kids be by then?  Are they going to be 16 or 17 or so?  What's the point of adopting them then anyway, if it's only going to be a year or two before they become adults?

Sorry, accidentally glossed over that.  By 2018, Mercy would be 17, Felix would be 14.  The adoption dream is out the window by that point, because you're right it would be pointless at that age.  God knows my heart that I just want what's best for these kids whether that's living with me or me just sponsoring them and putting them through school.  The answer is probably the latter.

Sometimes, laziness just happens to coincide with common sense.

Red meat isn't good for you in large quantities. I don't care if you grill it or fry it. Of course, you don't care or understand.

Anyway, it's your life. Just don't complain when CAD fails, because it will, and that is because you aren't physically capable of finishing it. In fact, you aren't physically capable of holding down a job with all of your medical issues. Just go on disability and leave it at that. That is the best course for you at this point, I think.

We shall see what happens, won't we!

I like how someone suggests "maybe you should just live off the government for the rest of your life," and Bushie responds with a "maybe I will!"

Speaking of Christmas as of midnight, September 1, 2013 (3 hours from now) there will be exactly 115 shopping days until Christmas.

Why is it that the one thing you're proactive on is a vapid, consumerist mockery of the birth of Christ (which FTR was probably in June)?

Because, you see, the good Lord Jesus Christ is what absolves him of all human responsibility. That blessing is the most important thing in his life, as it drives all his decisions. Why wouldn't he be excited to celebrate?!

Are your parents gonna go to any of the conferences?

Of course not.  Only parents of high school students are invited.  If anybody should attend my parent teacher conference, it is me because since I am well over the age of 18, I am responsible for myself.  Mom and Dad have no responsibility over me.  Plus, since I am paying for this all myself, they really have no say except encouragement to go.

lol

Your stomach is still bothering you? Hasn't it been 2 weeks now? What did the doctor say was wrong with it? What are you eating during this time?

He is struggling with morbid obesity, Duke. There are chronic health issue related to that.

Bushie's attacks are so severe he cannot even work! Only socialize, go shopping with his mother, go bowling, attend church, and eat 3 hamburgers per sitting (but with only one slice of cheese each instead of the usual two)!

Lol. It's okay Bushie. I know you've been on a sugar eating binge for a while now. You're not about to change your diet, and that's okay. Just be fat and happy. Don't worry about anything.

Gee, thanks, Duke!  To be honest, I was disappointed, though not surprised, when asked if I could go to Braum's.  I would have much preferred grilled hamburgers, but Dad was just too tired.  Sad

And, of course, you helping cook your own food was out of the question.

Any burger consisting of 1,150 calories has to be absolutely abysmal for your health. Hope they put a leaf of lettuce on there or something.

It doesn't matter if you ate burgers at home or at Braum's. It's all red meat, and they probably grill their burgers there anyway. Even if they don't, it's not that much different. You give your home cooked burgers way too much credit unless you're using 93% lean beef, and I am almost positive you don't.

Lettuce and suchlike is hugely overrated guys, and red meat is absolutely fine.  He just needs to eat less of it, and eliminate the bun as well as the fries and the sugar soda (btw kudos on eschewing those latter two items, Bushie!).

For reference, a Triple Whopper at Burger King is "only" 1,020 calories.

I hate myself for reading this. Every time I come here, I hate myself for reading this. The hate begins before I read, and lingers long after I stop.

And like Bushie to grill stacked with hamburgers do I come back.

Kudos to all players involved. It's a solid read every time.

PS: Computer-Aided Design.

Bushie is taking a fancy art class. On the computer. It's aiding him.
