Well, this was Biden's 2nd best state, so Democrats should have at least one pickup next year.

Well two given Maryland.

No. It is a loss. You need blue state Republicans and red state Democrats. You need flexibility.

Baker was a check on the Democrats' taxes.

Even moderate Democrats find property taxes confiscatory. Why overtax? Where is the taxes going? Baker vetoed a lot of tax increases and his tax cuts created a lot of jobs in Boston, etc.

The problem is that red states will very rarely elect Dems.

The problem is that red states will very rarely elect Dems.

In Governor's races, it's pretty even.

MA, MD, and VT seem fairly balanced by LA, KS, KY at the moment.

The difference is that MA, MD, and VT all survived a Dem wave environment in 2018.  The three Dems in red states won’t survive a GOP wave environment.
