Meh. We had a perfectly good AG already. Make Xahar GM instead. Make Ebowed SoEA. While we're doing Christmas wishlists.

While Xahar wouldn't be my first choice as AG, I'm fine with this. I was never seeking the position when Moderate offered it to me. I look forward to someone else having a chance at the job and wish Xahar the best of luck.
Okay, that puts that out of the way.

AG (like SoFA) being a largely apolitical position, I'm a little reluctant about Presidents removing them except for inactivity. Smiley

Whether or not that is legal is something that will perhaps be decided by the courts.

Whether or not that is legal is something that has been decided by legislation (and it isn't legal). All ("all"... hah!) the courts can decide is whether or not certain persons are guilty.

To be more precise:

*Campaigning for* the invalidation of votes is illegal (contrary to what the President stated). *Invalidating your vote on purpose* is not, though perhaps it should be - certainly it is not morally acceptable. (At least not to me.)

Indeed not. You're perfectly free to get a Senator to introduce it for you, though.

I only just noticed that opening language there... I suppose Dwtl didn't commit a crime after all. Sad

It would make you happy if I had committed a crime?  Kind of depressing
It would conform to my sense of right and wrong, and affirm my belief in a form of order in the universe. It would, in short, restore me to hozro (or hohzho or whatever spelling you prefer). Tongue

If the thing ever went to a trial, you would have had to hope for Opebo as presiding judge... hard.

I always knew about the requirement of the act, but I was confused by it. What it seemed to imply made the act virtually useless.
Yeah. I'm not sure the Senators voting on it noticed either - there wasn't any debate.

I still don't get it. What would anybody want to do that for?

Heh. Silly children. Something of a sad loss for the Forum if it results in his banning, but whatever.
