This would lead to the Senate and the President being elected at seperate times and making it even harder for people, especially less active people, to know when to vote and when elections are. Also having the Presidential election at the same time as a Senate vote helps keep turnout in those Senate elections high when compared to midterm turnouts. By making these at seperate dates Atlasia would not be using the Presidential turnout bump to our advantage to get more people involved in voting for lower offices.
