second, Reed built the GA GOP. That's like saying George Washington was bad for America. No intelligent person would say it.
Well, there's a difference between "good as a behind-the-scenes party builder" and "good as a candidate"...

I don't think they had a better candidate around in SC...Tenenbaum didn't win, but at least she gave Graham a run for his money. Don't know enough about Bowles, really. I think NC Senate races should be winnable for Dems.
