1980 is...weird. Reagan won the popular vote by just a tad more than Clinton in 96 or Bush in 88, after all.

I sort of like the look of the 1932 map...which brings me to an odl question of mine that I'd never asked...anybody with an idea just why the Rep vote held up so comparatively well in Pennsylvania and Connecticut and Delaware that year?
