Thought: Is Iran launching drones and missiles at Israel going through Iraqi airspace a violation of Iraq's airspace or does that mean Iraq is permitting this?

Biden you WEAK FOOL!

All because of your + Senate Majority Leader Schumers Rhetoric against Israel!

Nope.

This is squarely at the feet of Bibi and they were correct in saying he needs to go.

Yeah, it's not as if Biden encouraged Netanyahu to attack targets in Damascus. That's what Iran is actually upset about, no matter how much they ramble on about "brothers" in Gaza.

Is Netanyahu out of his ing mind?? Why the hell did he authorize the strike on Damascus? Israel is already fighting a longer-than-expected war against Gaza, why on earth did he also want to fight a war on more fronts? Is he stupid?

I’m fine with the US exerting pressure to try to talk everyone down, but the worst thing Biden could possibly do is give Israel a blank check here. We should not send American troops to die cleaning up Israel’s messes.

With Gaza (at least in the beginning), supporting Israel was fairly straightforward. The conflict was frozen until Hamas launched the terrorize attack on 10/7, and they were unambiguously the aggressors. The problem is the way that Israel has perused the war since then.

But this? This is also unambiguous, but not in Israel’s favor. They are unquestionably the aggressors in this conflict which, it shouldn’t be ignored, started with the IDF blowing up an Iranian consulate in Syria. That’s an act of war against two countries (not that Syria has any capability to respond at the moment).

No, he's very smart. His goal is to provoke a US Iran war that puts the Orange Man back into the WH. So far everything is going as planned.

Is the Biden admin smart enough to not take the bait?

I doubt Biden does. The US has little interest in a war with Iran. Not to mention the optics of starting a war in an election year.

"U.S. official speaking to ABC News claims there will be between "400 to 500 drones and missiles" launched as part of Iran's attack against Israel."

"Iranian ballistic missiles are now flying over Iraq. They will arrive in Israeli airspace in approximately 10-20 minutes, depending on the exact type, target, and launch location."

Iran is rage posting like Trump with the cap locks:

https://twitter.com/Iran_UN/status/1779269993043022053

Quote
Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus. The matter can be deemed concluded. However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!

"This matter can be deemed concluded." Yeah sure, you wish it was.

First time I've seen talk about Saudi Arabia being involved. If true, an especially funny case of "the enemy of my enemy, is my friend":

"Al Arabiya, moments ago: Saudi Arabia and Jordan have now joined the US and UK in shooting down suicide drones and missiles aimed at Israel."

"A combination of Israeli missile-defense systems and fighter-jets (operated it seems by more than one country) have intercepted the first waves of drones and missiles launched by Iran. So far 1 Israeli wounded. The west should be providing this level of defense to Ukraine as well"

I just got back from trips to various stores. Turned on news on CNN to see it all started.
Have not read this entire thread.

Can someone tell me if the Iranians have targeted any US installations in the Middle East?
Or just targets in Israel?

And what is the most-damaged target they have hit (so far) in Israel, if any?
This is the extent of reported damage and injuries I've seen:

"Serious injury reported in the Arad area.

The seriously wounded 10 year old has died."

Storr,
Check the link you posted above.
It says "Hmm...this page doesn’t exist."
Does it work for you?

It's working for me, maybe it's a browser issue? But here's the images:

At least Israel's first reaction isn't to escalate:

"Israel has called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council regarding the Iranian attack."

An important point:

"Iran launched 185 drones, 110 ballistic missiles and 36 cruise missiles at Israel.

The lack of significant damage isn’t because Iran didn’t try, but a testament to Israeli and U.S. air defense and air power."

"Per a senior military official briefing reporters, the USS Arleigh Burke and the USS Carney, operating in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, engaged and destroyed between 4 and 6 Iranian ballistic missiles during last night's attack; US aircraft in the region shot down more than 70 Iranian drones; and a US Patriot battery shot down 1 ballistic missile in the vicinity of Erbil, Iraq.

The majority of the other Iranian ballistic missiles were engaged by Israel's Arrow missile defense system, official said.

On what comes next, a senior admin official said "We are committed to defending Israel. We would not be a part of any response they do. That's very consistent policy...our aim is to deescalate regional tensions. We do not want a broader regional conflict.""
