Why do you keep citing that number as if that's the only poll ever taken? Do you trust Marist that much?

We can't see what next yr this far out but some Ds are worried about 2022/ since first Midterms are bad, a 48/37 approval rating isn't bad, it's mediocre, but the Economy must be better than it is now to get the right/track wrong track never back even again in order to have a stellar 2022.

Obama lost the 2010 midterms not because he was doing bad,  but the he didn't get the right track/wrong track number back even again til he defeated Romney.

But of course if Statehood is adopted in this term, Rs gains are negated.

D's can win in 2022/ but it's not inevitable

I agree with everything you say in this comment, but IDK why you're pushing the 48/37 number so hard. Civiqs has 47 favorable/48 unfavorable if you're looking for a farther outlier.

Meet our beloved OC, Abdullah.

Stop it, Biden Approvals isn't 59 percent, I will not be convinced of any 59 percent approvals unless Covid is over or substantially reduced to the point that everyone returns to work

There are LIMITS TO WHAT FED GOVT CAN DO ERADICATING COVID AND THE 1400 CHECKS WERENT ENOUGH, AS LONG AS COVID CONTINUES

538 has Biden at +13. Rasmussen has Biden at +2, while ARG has Biden at +24. Both Rasmussen and ARG are 9 points off the average. I wonder, why C-rated ARG is posted, but not B-rated Rasmussen  Roll Eyes

Well, as one of the regular poll posters, I'll repeat the personal policy I've mentioned multiple times in the past: I don't post daily trackers such as Rasmussen, or HarrisX or Navigator when they were doing daily polls in 2020, unless they show something unusual or interesting, like new highs or lows for an individual.  I also don't post polls whose quality is generally considered suspect (e.g. McLaughlin), again unless there's something particularly interesting about them.

Other people are welcome to post those polls if they see fit.  Some might find that more productive than complaining.

What have I told you about being a #liberalhack, GM? Tongue

What is the point of a job if the money you get from it can’t pay for basic groceries?

Chicken prices are DOUBLED.  And chicken was always the cheapest of the meat.  It wasn't always that way.  My elderly friend from the UK talked of how chicken was always just a Christmas thing.  Then when we had a more robust bipartisanship chicken became the kind of thing you could eat every day if you want.  It feels like that's going away and Biden doesn't hear us.  And his biggest fans are just going on about 3.5 unemployments (DOESN'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY) while I'm in the market saying "can't do chicken this week, baby."  What are we going to be onto now?  Tofu???  That stuff is gross.

Hey! Don’t you dare diss tofu! Yeah I agree with you about everything…but tofu is literally an amazing food, you can do so much with it and the haters are WRONG! Yeah it doesn’t taste like chicken but it’s not supposed to, it’s good as it’s own thing!

Sorry passionate food rant. But yeah inflation is out of control and the Dems have done nothing about it.

I had a really bad experience with tofu on an international flight where I was stuck in the bathroom dry heaving for hours.  Maybe it's like when a really strong alcohol makes you sick and you can never drink it again.

Off thread-topic, but it is!

Our gag and vomit reflex is one of the strongest in our bodies.  If a food makes us sick (or even if we get sick unrelated to something recently eaten), our brains typically file that away in the permanent archives.

It's thought that this stems from our hominid ancestors, in the days when we foraged for berries and leaves.

If an individual ingested a berry from a toxic plant and became ill, the brain would then say "hey, maybe we shouldn't eat that again".  This may have carried over into our modern Homo sapiens species.
