Brooks considering:

It would be an immense downgrade if Brooks were to succeed Shelby, comparable to, and perhaps even worse than, the downgrade we experienced when Jones was succeeded by Tuberville.

I was gonna say Brooks isn’t as bad cause he (hopefully) knows the three branches, but then he’s worse cause he might actually know how to write a bill outlawing the color blue or whatever trumpians are foaming about this week

LOL

Being a blue in a red state there’s about three reasons someone runs. Either they’re delusional, they’re retiring with a bang, or they’re auditioning for a high office. Likely one of the latter two in her case. I like Sewell, she’s smart and educated just got bad luck of being in the wrong state. Maybe she’ll find her way into Biden’s cabinet in a few years.

From Shelby/Jones to Tuberville/Brooks in the span of just 2 years. Any worse delegational downgrades in recent history?

Not as bad but going from Corcker/Alexander to Blackburn/Hagerty comes to mind.

On the flip side their neighbors probably have the biggest upgrade (Perdue/Loeffler to Ossoff/Warnock)

Any poor democratic sacrfical lamb gonna take the plunge ?
Im certain democrats will nominate someone. they aren't going to leave it unopposed.

They’ll find some lawyer, doctor, or local politician ready to retire with the pockets to take a few months off work to bus around the state and can loose with dignity.

Still a long time until the Alabama primary, and Trump has yet to campaign for Brooks (which he 100% WILL). Safe Brooks.

If Mo Brooks doesn't win his primary (absent some unforeseen scandal which damages Brooks), I will quit this forum forever. Yeah I'm doing the thing.

The brazen chamber of commerce shill Katie Britt must not be allowed to get into elected office. I will vote democrat if she somehow wins the GOP nomination.

Why would Brooks be a better Senator than Britt?

He is not a glorified hussy and open borders advocate who was handpicked to be the successor of a RINO who has been in federal office for like 50 years.

Ok then

Trump unendorses Brooks because back in August he said Republicans need to move on from 2020 apparently?

Clearly that's not the reason. Trump is scared Mo will lose and wants to switch his bets to stop himself from being embarrassed.

Mo is the only one to say the election was stolen out of all the candidates, he is the only one to oppose McConnell and was one of Trump's top allies in the House. Britt and Durant are not Trump-aligned at all. This is because of the polls showing Brooks losing.

Mo Brooks being called woke was not on my 2022 bingo card
