Not to show off or anything, but I know more about French politics than TV5 does.

I remember during the municipal elections when one pundit was like "the Socialist mayor is retiring... will Rennes vote socialist now?". I also remember a magazine article with some university thingee called ElectionScope, which did predictions based on "scientific" stuff. ElectionScope gave Royal 28% in the first round and 23% to Sarkozy, Le Pen at 16% and Bayrou at 15%. Hilarious. Entirely wrong order. Also, their "explanation" for possible right-wing gains in Ajaccio or Dijon in 2008 was "o Sarkozy won the city!!!11!!". Lolz. Cheesy

I hope they keep "predicting", since they're hilarious at that. I guess that in 2010, they'll predict a UMP gain in Limousin Smiley and PS gain in Corse (even though the PS doesn't exist there). Grin
