I agree I think the dimes idea is a reasonable one. It does seem like splitting hairs somewhat, but its not like this is the Missouri compromise or anything. Its just the coin, and by this point in history Reagan's legacy is in league with FDR's in terms of economic impact on the U.S. The $10 bill proposal seems unpopular, on CNN's unscientific poll about 69% out of the 125,000 who voted said no.
