I helped form a local Draft Obama committee back in August 2006 and have never wavered in my support since; I guess I got in on the ground floor of this operation. I just hope I'm not putting too much faith in him or overestimating the significance of the presidency to daily life in the United States. Although it certainly will be quite a relief to know that our national leader is, for the first time since 11:59 a.m. on January 20, 1993, a person I can trust.
