I find it amazing that so many people don't know about her radicalism, considering that's most of what she did with her life. Leave it to publik skools to whitewash that part out.

If they don't mention her political views (wasn't she in the IWW at one point), it's not because the public education system is trying to brainwash you all into accepting Socialism. Quite the reverse generally; the idea of such censorship is to remove politics, period.
History is awkard and confusing. Difficult that.
