Thought this could be fun as we go further into election season. Nothing but sharing anecdotes on lawn signs and where you've seen them!

Also, if you could add where you are too (even generally), would be helpful!

Back where I'm from, in Montgomery County, PA (suburb of Philly), not a whole lot of action. Have seen 1 Shapiro sign on my parents street, and 2 Fetterman signs as well. Have seen no Oz and Mastriano signs though whatsoever in the town at all.

There's also 1 Kathy Barnette primary sign that someone has still not taken down near the highway lol.

Have not seen an Oz sign except for one outside my polling place when I lived in Lancaster County. None since moving to Bucks County. A good number of Fetterman signs in Bucks, one or two in Berks, and quite a few in Montco.

I've seen Mastriano signs everywhere. They're like the plague. I didn't see my first Shapiro lawn sign until I drove through Montco and Philly about a month and a half ago. I've seen a few Shapiro signs in Bucks since then.

Interesting, where have you seen the Mastriano signs? I haven't seen any, but I also haven't traveled thru more rural PA where I'm sure they're everywhere.

The primary was quiet here too. There was plenty of Barnette, Dave White, Gerow signs everywhere. I think a few Barletta, but none for Mastriano or Oz even during the primary that I could tell in my area of Montco.

If yard signs indicated anything, Youngkin would have won in a mega landslide last year. lol
Yard signs can indicate enthusiasm and sometimes polling error imo.

Yeah, I would agree with this.

For example, in 2020, there was an abnormally large amount of Kathy Barnette signs in my district (PA-04), way more than I expected. Thought it was kind of weird since this is a very blue district. Turns out, she ended up doing better than I thought (Dean won by 19 compared to 26 in 2018)

Some of my neighbors now have Mandela Barnes signs up. I find this intriguing mostly because it's two houses that haven't had signs up for any other election, and one of them is a family that I expected to be pretty moderate, if not Republican-leaning. The other house may have switched owners (it was an elderly couple for most of the time we've lived here) but it didn't actually ever go up for sale, so I'm not sure.

It's just intriguing to me since I have lots of other neighbors who always put up signs who haven't yet, and these normally non-signed houses now have signs for Barnes!

Ha, I thought the same thing. Two of the houses in my parents area always put up signs for the GOP candidates, especially down ballot ones. And yet neither have anything for Oz or Mastriano (or anyone) yet...

I drove through the Lehigh Valley (PA-07) over the weekend and part of that area starts to get a little redder - I was struck at how I saw... no signs anywhere for GOV or SEN lmao. I saw tons of both Susan Wild and Scheller signs (and for a local Dem candidate Schlossberg) but I saw nothing for Fetterman/Shapiro or Mastriano/Oz. I was fully expecting to see tons of Mastriano or Trump signs since the parts that I went to were more red-leaning.

Early September observations from my area in north Cobb County, GA (so a swingy area):

Honestly, the only signs I've seen for federal races so far are a few signs for Barry Loudermilk, the R incumbent here in GA-11 (this is a Safe R race). They've mostly popped up on commercial property, including this one small business that is notorious for putting up signs for virtually every Republican candidate every election cycle. So far, just Loudermilk, but I expect to see the Walker/Kemp/Carr/Jones/Setzler (who's vacating his now-bluer state house seat for the redder and open state senate seat) signs within days.

Aside from that, there are some signs along some Cobb Pkwy. commercial property at the southern end of HD-35 (the aforementioned bluer seat that's being vacated by Republican Ed Setzler, which is a Dem pickup opportunity this year) for Republican candidate Robert Trim, and some scattered signs about for Stacey Abrams and some city council candidates, again largely on commercial property, but other than that, it's quiet.

Nothing in people's yards yet, which I try to look out for. During the runoff campaign last year, there were a LOT of Ossoff/Warnock yard signs in my neighborhood; while I live in a Dem-leaning precinct, it's not overwhelmingly so (like D+15, and it did vote for Trump in 2016).

There's also a fair number of signs for losing candidates leftover from the primaries.

This. Still quite a few Kathy Barnette/Charlie Gerow signs in my area of Montco near the highway. lol

Though I forgot add - in my area of Montco that is trending blue but still swingy, there were recently 3 Mastriano signs put up near this same highway area. Last week when I went... they were all suddenly gone lol.

A few more Shapiro signs have popped up in my area of Montgomery County. Still more Shapiro than Fetterman, interestingly enough, at least in my area.

Have yet to see a single Mastriano or Oz sign. The county GOP appears to not have put any up yet either in main parts of town like they usually do.

Oh, I also drove through a bit of Gottheimer's NJ district over the weekend too (unknowingly). Saw tons of signs for him.

I will say, in my area of Montco, it's a swingy-area that has evolved a bit more blue-ish recently but still will elect the "right" Republicans - usually every election cycle I get terribly frustrated because the local GOP party is *very* good at getting their signs out early on all the local highways/commercial property/shopping center areas, even last year with just the super local races.

This year, it's still sort of early I guess, but based on their typical standards, not really so and yet I've seen... no signs whatsoever for Mastriano or Oz. I think I wrote in here that I did see one day, 3 Mastriano signs near one of our exits onto the highway and then two days later they were magically gone lol.

If there was any thought that Dem enthusiasm was low in Dem areas, that's gone now. Drove through Jenkintown/Abington in Montco yesterday and the amount of Shapiro signs was insane. It was like every house. I'd say like half of them additionally had a Fetterman sign, but the Shapiro signs were everywhere.

Biking through east central Bucks today (north of Newtown & west/in New Hope), there's plenty of houses with Shapiro & Fetterman signs (and sometimes with the state Senate/rep. candidates too) but some houses had a full slate of GOP signs (Oz, Mastro, Fitzpatrick, state legislature). I think I only saw one street corner with a split ticket- Fitzpatrick but other D candidates. Question for the PA folk: Do any of the Shapiro signs also include Austin Davis on the sign? All the ones I saw just had Shapiro/Governor while all of Mastro's included DelRosso.

More to my surprise, I only saw two houses with right wing presidential flags (and at that it was only "Brandon"/FJB ones). The houses that use to fly Trump ones are starting to dwindle throughout my all of travels.

Locally to me, new NJ-3, just a couple of houses with Kim signs and some ROWs with Healeys.

I feel like some did before, but all the ones I've been seeing now are just Shapiro.

Went down to Swathemore college in Delaware County PA for a college tour and the surrounding neighborhoods, largely wealthy and white had a lot of Shapiro and Scanlon signs. I saw a few signs for Fetterman, a sign for Mastriano, but none for Oz.

I have yet to see a single Mastriano or Oz sign in the flesh. I of course have not been to central PA where I'm sure there is more, but I've been all throughout SEPA and all the way up through the Lehigh Valley and still nothing for either.

What was funny is that the Mastriano sign had like fallen over as well (likely by wind, it didn't look ripped out nor placed)

Actually I take that back - there was the 3 that I saw in my township back home but as I said, they were gone two days later. Funny because at first I did pass them the one day and the one was bent/fallen and I also thought it was the wind maybe. But then the next day that's when all 3 were gone lol.

I said it in here earlier too - I think both of them are so toxic that the Montco GOP county party has yet to even put up their usual signage everywhere on commercial property around town.

Saw my first Oz sign in the wild. Along the highway though, there are were 2 or 3 instances where I guess the local GOP threw up a Mastriano and Oz sign.

I've seen about a dozen in the last two weeks whenever I venture out of Philly into the suburbs (just passed through ChesCo the other day).

Lots of Fetterman and Shapiro signs, a fair amount of Mastriano signs too.  But many of these signs are those placed in a big cluster presumably by campaign volunteers rather than people who actually donated to these campaigns.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the local GOP here in my part of Montco to put up all the Rep signs like that, but they have yet to do so - kind of telling. (though the Dem party in my area is much worse; they take forever to get their sh*t together and put stuff up in the same areas)

I have yet to see Mastriano or Oz signs in anyones yards, but I've only been thru Philly, Montco, and Lehigh Valley recently.

When I tell you that at least every other house in Abington/Jenkintown area had a Shapiro sign. Was nice to see.

Lots of Fetterman and a good deal of Mastriano signs in the Wilkes-Barre/Carbondale area. Some Oz, none of Shapiro. Since the RGA has triaged Mastriano, signs may not be the strongest predictor.
Now THIS is interesting.

agreed - Fetterman having the most (?) signs in that area is certainly surprising.

Still have seen no Mastriano or Oz signs in any persons yards in my area in Montco, however I did see a house with signs for PA-04 GOP nominee Nascimento and the state house and senate candidates. No Oz or Mastriano though.

I'm starting to see a lot of Oz signs alongside other GOP candidates' signs, so it seems like the local GOP folks are starting to up his presence. Mastriano's signs remain ubiquitous.

Yep, the only time I've seen Oz signs thus far has been along highways where Oz and Mastriano signs were put up by the local GOP.

Where are you located? I'm in SEPA but I've still seen 0 Mastriano signs in any neighborhoods (0 with Oz as well). Have seen signs for local GOP candidates, but absolutely none for Mastriano or Oz.

I live in Bucks County (near the Montco border) but I work in Berks County so I drive through some pretty red areas on my way. I moved from Lancaster County earlier this year as well, where Mastriano signs are pretty much ubiquitous as KhanofKhans has noted.

When I drive through Montco and Philly though, I see as many Shapiro signs as I do for Mastriano in Bucks/Berks. Which isn't surprising.

What's the sign disparity looking like in Bucks/Berks in each race? Curious if Shapiro/Fetterman are holding their own out there.

Saw my first official Oz/Mastriano signs out in the wild in someones property yesterday. Conshohocken, surprisingly. The same block had two houses that Oz/Mastriano signs and then 1 a few houses down from them had Fetterman.
