Deputies, we need a new look for Lincoln, I think we can all agree the current situation just doesn't represent us. The current flag is a weird red yellow combination with a sailboat. It is utterly confusing and aesthetically horrifying.

Even the original creator of it says we should abolish it!

What is the meaning of this flag?

The green field represents the natural beauty of Lincoln, the tree is the tree of liberty, a common theme in our history, and each state is one of the constituent states of Lincoln.

Is there any other flag with a top-left corner that has a white background? It blends into the page.

Well, the description distinguishes what is the flag and what isn't

Assuming there are no objections, can we pass this?

I'd like to vote, unless Leinad has specific recommendations for changing the writing on the seal.

Yes, I congratulate Lincoln on finding a good replacement for the original flag and seal (which I honestly cringe at now every time I see them). A sad price to pay for not being an expert vexillographer like the Honorable John Dule!

If I may ask, what is the new motto supposed to translate to? The original motto on the wiki is "Verum potestatem facit lex". I forget if that's the correct translation, but the original motto was meant to translate as "Truth, not authority, makes law", which itself is a liberal (in the political sense) inversion of a Thomas Hobbes quote.

The new motto is the correct Latin translation. But it's not actually new, it was changed to this months ago but we never changed the seal to reflect this.
