What do you think of NATO?

Rather outdated as the fear of the Soviet Union was the glue that held it together.  But the more world powers that are officially aligned, the better, as it would appear to reduce the odds of war.   Countries like the Ukraine and Georgia attempt to become more economically and socially liberal [classical], in an attempt to join it too.  Worst case scenario is that it does nothing, as far as I can tell.  The US would have still invaded the countries it has been invading even without NATO support.
