I actually think courting the people who still support Corker is exactly what Bredesen needs to do. He needs to go after the moderate republicans vote if he has any hope of winning in November.

This was a comment on the YT video:

This is probably how tons of people who voted for Bredesen in the past feel. They may like him personally, but they can no longer vote for any member of the anti-white hate group. Hopefully he can make up for them with Williamson County RINOs, but I'm not optimistic.

I'm not going to try and argue the position that he has a great shot at the seat - TN has trended R so much over the years that it's hard to make that case I think (even if polls are encouraging right now), but I would note that Bredesen won his last gubernatorial race 68% - 29.7%. That is a massive win, so there are probably a ton of people still alive today who voted for Bredesen for Governor. It's not surprising to see those kinds of comments - assuming they are telling the truth. I think even back in 2006, many of those voters would had to have been Republicans too.

He could conceivably lose many, many of those kinds of previous 2006 supporters and still win by a slim margin. OTOH, as Griffin has pointed out before, Bredie leaned on older voters back in that day, and younger generations then were more and more Republican, so a decent chunk of his previous supporters are probably not even alive anymore.

I see Blackburn is leading in a new Gravis Poll.... the thought of Blackburn being elected to the Senate is a bit unsettling.
One word: Gravis.
