What time does your family eat dinner on Thanksgiving?

My family always shoots for 5pm.  We have small snacks in the early afternoon and drink spiced hot cider and generally convive casually.

The early meal could maybe be a German-American thing, borrowing from the tradition of lunch being the large, hot meal in German society.

Here, it varies by family but tends to be early evening (between 4 and 6).

I'm not American, so we generally don't celebrate.

I feel like every day that youre not killed by some ubiquitous but too-small-to-see venomous insect is a day of Thanksgiving on that God forsaken continent.
