An ex-Trump supporter, sure. I believe that people can change.

What does this mean? If you’re a “Trumper”, you are by definition “political”.

POV: Your life is about politics.

Of course I would.

Why should I be friends with someone that I think is a bad person?

You think 74 million Americans are bad people? Yikes. I don't think Biden voters are bad people, we just disagree on how the government should be ran and policy but there are still so many other things to life than politics.

Oh, I think that way more than 74 million Americans are bad people.

Yes of course, there is more to life than politics. I don't think that someone being liberal/progressive automatically makes them a good person. There are a lot of bad people who agree with me on politics. But they're bad people in spite of their politics. Trump supporters are bad people because of their politics.

And like I said, I'm willing to give a pass to people who supported Trump in the past, but no longer support him, because I think that people can change.

But supporting Trump in 2024 means that you support a violent insurrection and an overthrow of the government. And nobody can be a good person and support that.

I don't know why it's fair to cut potential friendships off over political disagreements.

As I said before, why would I continue to be friends with someone that I think is a bad person?

Why would, or should, anyone care if you consider them a ''bad person''?

I don’t understand your confusion. Why would someone want to be friends with me if I don’t like them?

I was talking about your general attitude towards everyone, whether they're trying to be friends with you or not. Perhaps I should have made that clearer.

I don’t expect them to care, nor do I care if they care.
