This poll is missing the 'Conservative Republican' option. He is an extreme conservative figure without venturing into the anti-establishment hard conservatives like the Tea Party that better describe Ted Cruz.
MAGA comes closest because while it traditionally describes moderates, it has been co-opted by all types of ideologies falling in the Republican Party.
That's the same thing as "Mainstream"
Ted Cruz isn't mainstream. Mainstream is Paul Ryan/Scott Walker. Yet both are very conservative.
Ted Cruz is absolutely mainstream. Name one issue that places him to the right of the median Republican.
Paul Ryan is not a mainstream Republican anymore, he’s a pariah like Liz Cheney.
