In general, moderate Republicans do not tend to have been founding members of the House Freedom Caucus.

MAGA, pretty clearly. Tea Party Republicans, although they could be pretty extreme, did have some vague libertarian/small government principles. DeSantis is more comfortable with an overarching, authoritarian state than any Republican including Trump.

On what specific issues does DeSantis take the party's moderate stance, and what is the 'conservative Republican' stance on those issues?

Voted Tea Party Republican because he was one but between the Romney/Cheneys and the Boebert/Greenes, he strikes me as being a compromise candidate.

Blasphemous MAGAT. He fails to acknowledge the supremacy of prophet-emperor TRMP, otherwise he's completely MAGATty.

The OP's list is also redundant. Tea Party, Mainstream, and MAGATs are all the same - some of them just have enough vestigial shame-reflex that they pretend there's a difference. Likewise, there are no "Moderates" in the GOP  - anyone who exhibits a even a little pit of empathy, compassion, reason, or decency and is swiftly rejected by the party-cult.

As governor, DeSantis is not particularly fiscally conservative.  He doesn't sing the songs of Paul Ryan or Ted Cruz when it comes to slashing entitlements or taxes, for example.

In general, moderate Republicans do not tend to have been founding members of the House Freedom Caucus.

Biden was also once an opponent of integration busing, for what it's worth.

DeSantis has always had presidential ambitions.  The wind was blowing in favor of conservative Republicans when he was a young House freshman in 2013.  The (predictable) success of moderate Trump has shown Ron a different path.

Not being Paul Ryan or Ted Cruz does not make you a moderate lol . It just makes you a mainstream Republican which is different from a moderate. DeSantis is still to the right of George W Bush on economics for example .

Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz are mainstream, DeSantis is to the left of them.  Ergo, he is a moderate.

Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz are mainstream, DeSantis is to the left of them.  Ergo, he is a moderate.

No Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz are tea partiers not mainstream. By your definition:

80% of the GOP would be moderates 15% mainstream and 5 % Tea Party.

The way how it should be is :

20% Moderate 60% Mainstream 20% Tea Party and DeSantis clearly falls into that 60%. Paul Ryan does but Paul Ryan falls into the the edge of Mainstream and Tea Party while DeSantis is clearly in the Mainstream part

... a Governor of one of the largest southern states.

(I can't pick one out of your options, so I went with this instead.)
