A necessary evil. While I would prefer a system where unions do not have a coercive monopoly on labor, if such a system is going to exist, then employees should have the right not to participate in such an agreement.

Dems think companies should be allowed to make union-membership a precondition of employment. Not particularly bright.

Reps and Libs think companies should be allowed to ban unions from the workplace.
Not particularly bright.

Are there any other services where monopolistic negotiation of prices would be a good idea, or just labor?
