Whereas, Spark has harassed several women.

Resolved, that –
(1) the Senate condemns and expels Senator Spark498 from the Senate for conduct that disrespects the Atlasian people in a way that is not befitting a member of the Senate.

The intent of the resolution should be obvious. Spark's disgusting behavior shouldn't be tolerated.

Still not a resolution that needs to be on the floor though, and frankly a waste of the Senate's time. Where was this sudden zeal for expelling Senators before this when you've been shouting about Spark's "disgusting behavior" from the rooftops for literal months?

I introduced a resolution to expel Spark in like July/August iirc.

I and the rest of Labor would be fine with LT appointing a Fed if Spark is expelled.

hinging these arguments on a 2 year old conviction are, as Yankee stated, a bad, bad precedent. We should care far more about Spark's history of creepy behavior towards women. This is something that has not let up over the years.


I can personally talk about at least two instances that were not brought up by WD, including admitting that he "sent [Jessica] a couple of PMs", presumably similar to those he sent Skunk and Virginia.

I'm pretty sure awkwardly asking someone on a date and being rejected doesn't qualify as malicious behavior.

Again, the Labor Party should maintain a consistent standard of they want to be the police of Atlasians' behavior. Otherwise, turn it over to the mods and let them deal with it if you think rules have been violated.

I indeed sent those messages to Virginia. That was during my college days. Even still, the time of the Senate is better used elsewhere, as I have spoken publicly on this matter before and apologized to her. Not sure what else I could do as I have done my part in expressing regret for these words.

Ok. When will you do your job as PPT in bringing other relevant and important legislation to the floor, instead of chasing after me each time?

I have done that and when will you introduce bills that aren't resolutions but in name with details to implement the bills.

Right because serving on an inactive advisory committee is so much different than just being a regular Joe on the street.

He clearly had interest in the game and not some zombie because he was a gubernatorial candidate in Lincoln in June and a delegate in the South in July.

Still not following the logic here of the relevance of the "held office at the time" question that you are emphasizing so much?

He held an office even if the council was inactive that's what counts.
