Clinton's lead in the DNC should be no surprise; she's much more "establishment" than Obama or Edwards. Romney is a bit of a surprise; I would have expected Gingrich for the RNC.

Also, neither the DNC nor the RNC is party "activists", per se. They're the political elite of the parties.
