The vast majority of Mormons don't believe in polygamy or gay marriage

The 2006 referendum in Arizona suggested otherwise. Even though the Mesa Mormons might not practice polygamy themselves, they seemed pretty put-out by the idea that the Arizona Constitution might ban it ("One man and one woman").

The returns suggest that the conservative group that swung in opposition to the referendum were all in the Mormon areas: Mesa, Taylor/Snowflake, etc. If that's not evidence for continued sympathy for polygamy, I'm not sure what is.
