It's potency is dying off... people were hyped up by Abbott for the world to end... and a clear majority either don't think it's going to make much difference, or it's going to be a good thing.

I honestly haven't noticed any differences, I haven't gotten a power bill yet, but even then it looks like it'll be much of a muchness from my calculations.

It'll be like the GST, people get annoyed by it, but the logistics of undoing it will be too cumbersome and expensive.
